Tourism Victoria Named Marketer of the Year
Victoria, British Columbia has more to offer than its old quaint reputation holds. Trending nightlife and a thriving culinary scene make the B.C. destination a worthy contender with its larger regional neighbors.
Over the past couple years, GMR client Tourism Victoria has worked hard to spread word of the city’s vibrance through campaigns like “Victoria Calling” and “Meetings.” The results led the BC chapter of the American Marketing Association to name Tourism Victoria 2014 Marketer of the Year.
“Our campaigns are integrated,” Trina Mosseau, chief marketing officer at Tourism Victoria told Marketing Magazine. “They are heavy on experiential, heavy online and digital and very heavy on social… But PR is our biggest driver.”
